Job summary
Midwest Bus Sales is seeking an experienced Mobile Service Technician to diagnose and repair medium- and heavy-duty fleet vehicles at customer locations in the Bonner Springs market. This field-based role requires independent work, strong diagnostics, and high-quality repairs with a company truck provided.
Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, electrical/hydraulic/brake/HVAC system work, and accurate job documentation in the fleet system.
Qualifications
- Experience repairing medium- or heavy-duty vehicles.
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
- Experience with electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and HVAC systems.
- Ability to use computerized diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair medium- and heavy-duty trucks, buses, and related fleet equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and vehicle inspections.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and HVAC systems.
- Use vehicle diagnostic systems to identify failure modes and complete repairs.
- Complete repair documentation, parts usage, and labor time in the fleet maintenance system.
