Job summary
Rural King is seeking a Mobile Diesel Equipment Technician to provide on-site service across the assigned territory using a company-provided service truck. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain diesel-powered equipment at customer homes, farms, and businesses.
Ideal candidates have experience with tractors, lawn mowers, and outdoor power equipment, plus a commitment to safety and excellent customer service.

- Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel-powered equipment.
- Ability to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities
- Travel throughout your assigned territory in a company-provided service truck.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain diesel-powered equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and warranty repairs.
- Repair diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, steering, drivetrain, and mechanical systems.
- Use diagnostic software, scan tools, multimeters, service manuals, and schematics to identify equipment failures.
- Complete electronic work orders, warranty documentation, and parts ordering.
- Maintain service truck inventory and safely transport customer equipment.
- Communicate repair recommendations and maintenance tips with customers.
- Follow all safety procedures and participate in ongoing technical training.
