Job summary

MGX Equipment Services is hiring Field Crane Technicians at the Nashville, TN branch to inspect, diagnose, repair and maintain mobile cranes and boom trucks. You will report to the Service Manager and operate on a typical 7:00 am–4:00 pm schedule with potential overtime and travel up to 50% for training and job sites.

The role requires mechanical, electrical and hydraulic knowledge, plus a valid driver’s license and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical background with electrical/hydraulic reading abilities.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and light equipment repair.

Responsibilities

• Light diagnosis, repair and troubleshooting of mobile hydraulic and lattice cranes.
• Work independently without direct supervision.
• Perform annual inspections.
• Complete working reports, hours reports, time sheets and expense reports.
• Provide excellent customer service.
