Job summary

Atreides seeks a Mission Engineer to deploy, integrate, and sustain mission-critical systems in challenging environments, with a USINDOPACOM focus. You will deploy geospatial and secure-communication technologies and support multi-intelligence fusion across partner countries.

This role requires adaptability and strong problem-solving in-theater. The ideal candidate will have field engineering experience, an active Secret clearance, and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and host

Qualifications

• Active security clearance at Secret level or above.
• Hands-on field engineering, systems integration, or deployment experience.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, and networking.
• Familiarity with secure communications, VPNs, and endpoint management.
• Experience with containerized platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) and modern deployment toolchains.
• Scripting or programming in Python or Go preferred.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Prior experience supporting defence, intelligence, or government programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and sustain mission-critical systems in the field.
• Integrate technologies (geospatial platforms, secure communications, mobile systems) into operational environments.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide real-time support during deployments.
• Conduct pre-deployment checks, system validation, and acceptance testing.
• Support secure endpoint and mobile device policies in austere environments.
• Collaborate with host nation partners, stakeholders, and vendors for mission integration.
• Document engineering processes, configurations, and lessons learned for knowledge transfer.
• Serve as trusted advisor and brand ambassador for Atreides services in the field.
• Deliver world-class field support with an eye toward future support contracts.
