Job summary

Landis+Gyr is seeking a Meter Reader in Kirkland, WA to read assigned meters (mobile or manual) for a 2500 square mile service territory. The Mobile Reader uploads and downloads daily work, while you identify failed service conditions and report findings to the supervisor.

The role requires proficiency with MS Word and Excel, good written and spoken communication, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work in varying weather.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with MS Word and Excel preferred.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Reads meters (mobile or manual) for a 2500 sq mile territory.
• Remotely uploads/downloads daily work and reports conditions to supervisor.
• Identifies unusual meter/module conditions and escalates as needed.
• Maintains assigned equipment including vehicles and safety gear.
• Drives as required and adheres to safety policies.
