Job summary

FirstEnergy's Mon Power division is hiring a meter reader to accurately read customer meters, report irregularities, and deliver notices. The role requires reliable transportation and the ability to work outdoors in all weather.

You will interact with customers, maintain safety standards, and support company metering programs. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
• Ability to safely drive and walk in all weather and over varied terrain.
• Must possess and use an all-wheel or four-wheel drive vehicle for meter reading (mileage reimbursement eligible).
• Ability to work well with customers and communicate effectively (oral and written).
• Overtime may be required.
