Job summary

Arizona Public Service (APS) is seeking a Meter Reader 1-6 to read and record electric meter reads, report hazards, energy diversion, and any meter-accessibility issues. You will also report district or route problems and ensure accurate data collection in assigned readings.

Candidates must be at least 18, possess a high school diploma or GED, have a valid driver's license with a good driving record, and be able to learn to read multiple meter types and the ITRON FCS system.

Qualifications

• Must be physically capable of handling all job requirements.
• Must be able to read multiple different meter types including 5 dial electric meter.
• Knowledge of different meter types and read fields.
• Must be able to learn the ITRON FCS system.
• Must live within reasonable distance.

Responsibilities

• Read and record electric meter reads as assigned, report hazards, energy diversion, and other metering issues.
• Report all meter accessibility problems, route or meter reading district problems.
