Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking a Merchandiser to ensure local grocery stores are stocked and ready for customers in Quincy, MA, Walpole, MA, Prov, RI & Westerly, RI. The role requires daily travel to assigned stores and active participation in new display setups, shelf maintenance, and order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers.
• Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations and respond promptly to customer needs.
• Willingness to solicit customer feedback to improve service.
• Communication skills including speaking clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
• Capability to read and interpret written information and comprehend simple instructions.

Responsibilities

• Traveling daily to local grocery stores and supermarkets in an assigned territory.
• Assisting with new display setups and resetting existing displays of product.
• Packing out grocery orders when needed.
• Following planograms to adjust shelves and move inventory accordingly.
• Cleaning, straightening, and organizing shelves.
• Remaining accountable to completion of work by assigned due dates.
