Job summary

Acosta Sales & Marketing in Thousand Oaks, CA is seeking a Retail Coverage Merchandiser to optimize product visibility and drive sales for Primo Brands water in retail stores. You will visit stores, build compliant displays, and collaborate with store managers using a company tablet to collect and report data.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Prior retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.
• Must have reliable transportation to visit territory.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Cover a set territory of retailers with regular store visits.
• Support store managers on retail initiatives such as new product introductions and contests.
• Upsell the retail plan by influencing store decision makers to order product.
• Develop and sell to store personnel on major objectives such as brand information and shelf standards.
• Build displays including End caps, pallets, hutches/shippers, racks, coolers, and other fixtures.
• Accept deliveries of large boxes and transport to stores to build.
• Work with team principals in territory as assigned by supervisor.
• Use a tablet to collect and report data from store visits.
• Ensure full distribution and display of products in assigned accounts.
• Conduct audits to check data codes and report observations to the Unit Manager.
• Consult with management, meet objectives, and report store-level observations.
• Advocate for clients by identifying sales opportunities and building store relationships.
• Ensure merchandising coverage goals by executing the territory plan.
