Job summary

Imperial Distributors, Inc. seeks a detail-oriented merchandiser to read planograms, set up displays, and price products for shoppers in CT/MA/RI. You will travel regionally, maintain in-line departments, and protect customer satisfaction through accurate execution.

A High School Diploma or GED is required, retail or merchandising experience is preferred, and basic computer skills are needed. Reliable transportation and the ability to work a daytime schedule are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in retail, grocery, food service, or merchandising preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use login/password.
• Knowledge of product and/or merchandising in general merchandise or health and beauty care preferred.
• Ability to read and write short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to present information clearly in one-on-one and small groups.
• Ability to perform arithmetic on money, units, weight, volume, and distance.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Read and implement planograms.
• Set up displays in accordance with planograms for seasonal and promotional product.
• Ensure proper pricing of product.
• Set up and reconfigure in-line sections as directed using established planograms.
• Provide merchandising support, including pack-out and maintenance of in-line departments, and display setup.
• Assure customer satisfaction with Imperial.
• Other duties as needed.
