Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking a Customer Service Associate to greet members, promote travel and insurance products, and support sales efforts.

You will handle inquiries, process payments, and assist with lead generation and administrative tasks while maintaining a high standard of service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Greet, service, and support members by promoting and selling membership, travel products, select banking products, and other offerings.
  • Generate leads and share travel and insurance specials.
  • Provide travel information and conduct outbound promotional calls for insurance and travel products.
  • Respond to member inquiries and help resolve complaints.
  • Refer complex questions to senior staff or management when appropriate.
  • Process payments for policies and products.
  • Handle remittance/depository transfers and balance the cash drawer.
  • Provide administrative support to sales staff during peak periods.
  • Participate in office activities that support branch goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

  • Greet, service, and support members by promoting and selling membership, travel products, select banking products, and other ACG offerings
  • Generate leads and share travel and insurance specials
  • Provide travel information and conduct outbound promotional calls for insurance and travel products
  • Respond to member inquiries and help resolve complaints
  • Refer complex questions or concerns to senior staff, agents, or management when appropriate
  • Process payments for insurance policies, travel products, tickets, and travel money products
  • Handle remittance/depository transfers and balance the cash drawer
  • Provide administrative support to travel and insurance sales staff during peak periods
  • Participate in office activities that support branch goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in a customer-focused environment and delivering timely, helpful solutions
  • Ability to take personal responsibility, use good judgment, and seek solutions when challenges arise
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications and learning workplace technology
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize work effectively, and stay focused on office and customer service goals
  • Passion and enthusiasm for working with people while consistently exceeding member expectations
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately for monetary transactions
  • Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced customer service environment
  • Ability to work irregular hours, including holidays and weekends, and participate in community events when needed
