Job summary

Advantmed is hiring enthusiastic Medical Records Technicians to support scanning of patient records at facilities nationwide.

This part-time, seasonal role requires travel to hospitals, with company-provided laptops and scanners; pay is $18-$21 per hour or $3 per record, plus mileage and travel reimbursements.

Candidates must have a valid driver's license, own car and insurance, and be available 08:00 to 17:00 in their time zone.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record.
• Have a car and active insurance in their name with registration.
• Willing to drive up to 60-80 miles per trip.
• Internet access at home.
• Basic PC and office equipment skills.
• Available 08:00–17:00 in the respective time zone to visit required facilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a record system for patient information and gathering documents.
• Use electronic systems to collect, organize, and manage data.
• Ensure medical records are organized, accurate, and complete.
• Create digital copies of paperwork and store records electronically.
• File paperwork/reports quickly and accurately.
• Ensure HIPAA standards are met.
• Follow confidentiality guidelines, rules, and procedures.
• Interact with medical staff, healthcare providers, and other medical personnel.
