Job summary

ONEOK is seeking a skilled mechanical technician to perform and oversee maintenance on fixed and rotating equipment across locations in Oklahoma. You will work with compressors, engines, pumps and turbines, diagnose issues, and ensure safe, compliant operation.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with tools, strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to read manuals and job orders. The role includes DOT-related responsibilities and travel between sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand and power tools to service mechanical equipment.
• Advanced troubleshooting of equipment abnormalities and failure modes.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, drawings, diagrams and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical work on fixed and rotating equipment at multiple locations.
• Service, troubleshoot, maintain, install and repair mechanical, electrical and well equipment.
• Train and direct employees involved in mechanical work.
• Place and secure parts and supplies; drive and maintain company vehicles.
