Job summary

MYR Group, Inc. is seeking a Field Mechanic to service fleet equipment across our project sites in the United States. You will perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repairs, traveling to sites as needed, and maintaining the service vehicle to support a safe, efficient operation.

Base location is Glen Allen, VA, with a company vehicle, fuel card, and travel meals/lodging provided when required. This role offers opportunities to advance toward higher-level positions in our Fleet

Qualifications

• Three years of heavy truck, automotive, or equipment repair experience or four years with vocational training.
• Ability to operate company vehicles; clean MVR and DAC.
• Must obtain a valid Class B CDL.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing and repairs on fleet equipment per manufacturer guidelines.
• Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance.
• Oversee less-experienced mechanics (if applicable).
• Maintain records of time, materials, and repairs.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with rules.
