Job summary

MERSINO DEWATERING INCORPORATED is seeking a Mechanic to maintain, service, and repair pumping equipment, generators, and related machinery. You will troubleshoot, perform routine service, and keep accurate records while working within a safety-conscious environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on diagnosis, disassembly/assembly of pumping systems, and staying compliant with environmental and safety standards. On-site work with full benefits and growth opportunities is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in service and repair of large equipment preferred.
• Degree or certificate in diesel or heavy-duty repairs or related field desired.
• Planning and organizational skills for handling multiple projects.
• Proficient using technology to diagnose and repair mechanical equipment.
• Proficient using computer programs to maintain maintenance and repair records.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and maintain the company fleet and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and execute repairs.
• Perform maintenance and service on all equipment.
• Quality checks on repaired equipment and documentation of repairs.
• Disassemble and assemble pumping equipment and mechanisms.
• Maintain records and ensure regulatory compliance and safety.
