Qualifications

Three to five years of experience in mobile heavy truck repair, automotive repair, or equipment repair.
Vocational/technical school or apprenticeship in vehicle and equipment repair may substitute for part of the experience.
Must be capable of operating company vehicles and equipment daily and have a valid license.

Responsibilities

Perform mechanic assignments with independent judgment and apply procedures to specific work situations.
Service and repair fleet equipment per manufacturer guidelines and schedules.
Travel to customer sites for repair/maintenance; keep the service vehicle clean and professional.
Maintain records of time, materials, equipment condition, and repairs.
Conduct safety inspections and comply with DOT, EPA, OSHA, and related regulations.
