Job summary

Enbridge is seeking a mechanically inclined Mechanic III to support safe and reliable operation of gas transmission facilities. This field role covers inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of station equipment and mechanical systems across North America.

Key tasks include maintaining air and fuel systems, compressor equipment, and prime movers while adhering to SOPs and regulatory requirements. Candidates should have strong problem-solving skills and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of five years of directly related training and/or mechanical maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and compliance activities on station equipment and mechanical systems.
• Maintain and support air systems, air dryer systems, fuel systems, cooling systems, gas compression equipment, and prime movers.
• Recognize, respond to, and report abnormal operating conditions to help ensure safe and reliable operations.
• Complete required documentation, reports, and maintenance records accurately and in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Follow SOPs, O&M manuals, and all applicable company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to support operational goals and asset reliability.
• Assist with additional operational tasks, which may include equipment operation, measurement, telecommunications, electrical controls, and other maintenance-related activities based on business needs.
