Responsibilities

• Recognize, respond to, and report abnormal operating conditions to ensure safe operations.
• Complete required documentation and maintenance records per SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Follow SOPs, O&M manuals, and company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance teams, contractors, and stakeholders to support asset reliability.
• Assist with additional operational tasks as needed.

Preferred:* Experience maintaining and repairing pipeline, compressor station, or industrial mechanical equipment.* Working knowledge of gas transmission operations and related maintenance practices.* Experience with rotating equipment, compressors, Catepillar high speed engine compressor, cooling systems, fuel systems, and auxiliary station equipment.* Demonstrated desire to learn, develop technical expertise, and progress within the Mechanical Technician career path.* Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements applicable to pipeline or energy operations.## ## Working Conditions:* Primarily field-based role with outdoor work performed in varying weather and environmental conditions.* Regular physical activity including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, kneeling, reaching, walking on uneven terrain, and working around industrial equipment.* Requires participation in overtime, weekend work, shift schedules, on-call rotations, standby assignments, and overnight travel as business needs dictate.* Must reside within, or be willing to relocate to within, 30 miles of the assigned reporting location.* Safety Critical and Safety Sensitive position requiring strict adherence to company safety standards and policies.## ##
