Enbridge Inc. is seeking a Field Technician I to support safe, reliable operation of pipelines and equipment in outdoor environments. You will follow safety procedures, coordinate with multiple departments, and handle maintenance tasks while complying with regulations.

Responsibilities include documentation, emergency response, inventory control, and interpretation of drawings. The role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and ongoing qualification maintenance in a field setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and minimal direct training and experience.

Responsabilités

• Understand and adhere to all safety procedures and code requirements.
• Consistently work in a safe, responsible manner and actively participate in safety-related programs.
• Perform work in compliance with company policies/procedures as well as external regulatory bodies.
• Actively participate as a work group team member and maintain a cooperative work relationship with fellow employees.
• Complete paperwork and reports related to equipment maintenance accurately and completely.
• Respond to equipment malfunction, physical damage and/or fire, vandalism and/or threats to properly handle emergency situations to safeguard life and property.
• Must be familiar with the application of relevant procedures.
• Implements all lock out/tag out procedures as they apply to the job functions to ensure personnel safety.
• Completes reports accurately and completely and has a working knowledge of applicable local filing systems as required.
• Obtains training as required to maintain qualifications.
• Utilizes proper procedures for ordering, receiving and transferring materials as well as performing physical inventory.
• Reviews and interprets drawings, sketches and as-built.
• Limited independent judgment required.
