$28.50/hour or more, plus a $10.00/hour night shift differential, and benefits including PTO and referral bonuses. The team maintains heavy equipment across sites, with opportunities for annual increases and a strong benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Drive a mechanics truck to repair on-site machinery.
• Work extended and irregular hours.
• Troubleshoot and maintain heavy equipment such as reclaimers, milling machines, loaders, graders, dozers, pavers, rollers, dump trucks, and more.
• Inspect equipment and discuss with shop foreman, operator, or project manager the damage or malfunction.
• Plan work procedures and/or possible solutions such as part redesign or substitutions.
• Raise equipment with a hydraulic jack, hoist, or crane to access components.
• Remove engines, transmissions, drums, pumps, hydraulic cylinders, seals, tires, brakes, etc.
• Repair or replace parts such as drums, seals, motors, valves, wiring, etc.
• Rebuilds parts such as engines, transmissions, hydraulic pumps, gear boxes, etc.
• Perform preventative maintenance on mobile equipment with proper waste containment.
