Job summary

Empire Southwest seeks seasoned shop and field technicians to support Caterpillar and Empire equipment across multiple shifts. This field role involves diagnosing malfunctions, performing repairs, and preparing thorough service reports while traveling to remote sites as needed.

Minimum 6 months’ experience, English proficiency, and a valid driver’s license are required. Candidates should own their tools and be able to work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• DOT licensing, medical card, and endorsements as vehicle size dictates.
• Minimum of 6 months related experience.
• English communication required (speak/read/write).
• Own and maintain required personal tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures.
• Repair, recondition, and service Caterpillar and Empire equipment in the field.
• Prepare service reports and document work performed.
• Plan and control costs of repair jobs.
• Communicate with clients and management about conditions and recommendations.
