Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Field Mechanic to service asphalt plant equipment and mobile heavy machinery across multiple site locations. You will perform diagnostics, repairs, and PMs in the field, prioritizing safety and uptime. Expect outdoor work in varying weather, with required tools and CDL A preferred.

Experience with CAT/Komatsu/Volvo/John Deere is valued, as is adherence to LOTO and OSHA standards. Union affiliation is noted for compensation.

Qualifications

• Vocational training or relevant experience required.
• CDL Class A preferred.
• 1+ year of heavy equipment maintenance experience (CAT/Komatsu/Volvo/John Deere).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair asphalt plant components in the field.
• Perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repairs on mobile equipment.
• Conduct scheduled PMs and lubrication per manufacturer specs.
• Maintain documentation of work and equipment health status.
