Job summary

Brandenburg Industrial Svc Co. is seeking a Field Mechanic to repair mobile equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions across various locations. You will report equipment issues, perform maintenance, read manuals, and identify parts, ensuring documentation and safety standards are met.

The position requires a HS Diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years of heavy equipment repair experience, plus a CDL or ability to obtain one, with up to 95% travel to Pennsylvania/Indiana divisions.

Basic Description

• Perform all work in accordance with Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies

Essential Job Functions

• Regular and predictable performance
• Ability to work productively in personal protective equipment throughout work shift in all weather conditions
• Agility to access and repair components on heavy equipment
• Agility to climb onto, into and out of equipment using ladder
• Agility to walk and work on uneven surfaces
• Ability to climb, kneel, stoop, bend, lift, push/pull and/or reach frequently
• Agility, bodily coordination and dexterity of hands and feet
• Pulmonary fitness for respirator
• Ability to work with hazardous materials

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates must have a HS Diploma or equivalent, 3-5 years heavy equipment repair experience

Position Requirements

• Commercial Driver's License or the ability to obtain
• Ability to pass a DOT Physical
• Candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate and the flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment

Travel

This is a field-based position assigned from either our Pennsylvania or Indiana division with up to 95% travel.

Base Pay

Hourly rate; Health & Fringe benefits per Collective Bargaining Agreement.
