Job summary

Brandenburg Industrial Svc Co is seeking a Field Mechanic to repair and service mobile heavy equipment across multiple sites. You will read manuals, identify failures, replace parts, document work, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies.

Expect up to 95% travel from our Pennsylvania or Indiana division, with an hourly position offering health and fringe benefits per the collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3-5 years heavy equipment repair experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Basic Description

• Repair mobile equipment

• Perform all work in accordance with Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies

Essential Job Functions

• Regular and predictable performance
• Ability to work productively in personal protective equipment throughout work shift in all weather conditions
• Agility to access and repair components on heavy equipment
• Agility to climb onto, into and out of equipment using ladder
• Agility to walk and work on uneven surfaces
• Ability to climb, kneel, stoop, bend, lift, push/pull and/or reach frequently
• Agility, bodily coordination and dexterity of hands and feet
• Pulmonary fitness for respirator
• Ability to work with hazardous materials

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates must have a HS Diploma or equivalent, 3-5 years heavy equipment repair experience

Position Requirements

• Commercial Driver's License or the ability to obtain
• Ability to pass a DOT Physical
• Candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate and the flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment

Travel

This is a field-based position assigned from either our Pennsylvania or Indiana division with up to 95% travel.

Base Pay

Hourly rate; Health & Fringe benefits per Collective Bargaining Agreement.
