Job summary

Brandenburg Industrial SVC CO is seeking a Field Mechanic to repair mobile equipment at various locations across our service areas. This full-time hourly role requires diagnosing and fixing malfunctions, following maintenance manuals, and recording parts used.

You will travel up to 95% to support our Pennsylvania or Indiana divisions, operate safely with PPE, and communicate effectively with teams while upholding environmental and safety standards.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required, with 3-5 years of heavy equipment repair experience.

Essential Job Functions

• Regular and predictable performance
• Ability to work productively in personal protective equipment throughout work shift in all weather conditions
• Agility to access and repair components on heavy equipment
• Agility to climb onto, into and out of equipment using ladder
• Agility to walk and work on uneven surfaces
• Ability to climb, kneel, stoop, bend, lift, push/pull and/or reach frequently
• Agility, bodily coordination and dexterity of hands and feet
• Pulmonary fitness for respirator
• Ability to work with hazardous materials

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates must have a HS Diploma or equivalent, 3-5 years heavy equipment repair experience

Position Requirements

• Commercial Driver's License or the ability to obtain
• Ability to pass a DOT Physical
• Candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate and the flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment

Travel

This is a field-based position assigned from either our Pennsylvania or Indiana division with up to 95% travel.

Base Pay

Hourly rate; Health & Fringe benefits per Collective Bargaining Agreement.
