Job summary

Atlas is seeking an Atlas CMT Technician to support our construction materials testing team. You will perform field and laboratory testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and other materials on active projects, representing Atlas in the field with accurate testing and clear documentation.

You will travel to project sites, collect samples, observe field conditions, and prepare daily reports. The role requires interaction with clients, contractors and engineers to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction materials testing or inspection.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs.
• Knowledge of concrete, soils, aggregate base, and asphalt materials.
• Travel to project sites and work on active construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Travel to project and construction sites to support materials testing.
• Collect soil, concrete, asphalt, and other samples for testing.
• Observe field conditions to ensure quality standards and project requirements.
• Perform field QA testing according to industry standards and specs.
• Prepare and submit accurate daily reports with results and observations.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, engineers and design professionals to support project delivery.
