DIHO Consulting USA LLC in Cedar Creek, TX is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Technician. The role focuses on field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and related materials to ensure compliance with project specs and industry standards.

Candidates should have 2+ years of CMA testing experience, and while ACI, NICET, TxDOT certifications are strongly preferred, related credentials are acceptable. You will perform testing, build reports, and communicate with clients and dispatch daily.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of Construction Materials Testing experience.
• Experience with soils, concrete, asphalt, and field testing procedures.
• ACI certification strongly preferred.
• NICET, TxDOT, or related certifications preferred.
• Dependable transportation.
• Ability to pass a DISA drug screen and background check.
• Clean driving record; TWIC card preferred.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and testing equipment.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Able to maintain an on-call schedule; willing to work irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing of construction materials including soils, concrete, asphalt, and related materials.
• Conduct concrete testing (slump, air content, temp, unit weight, cylinder casting).
• Perform soil compaction testing using sand cone or nuclear gauge.
• Complete Proctor testing, Atterberg limits, sieve analysis, and soil classification tests.
• Perform asphalt density testing and pavement core sampling.
• Monitor pile installation to document capacity, penetration, blow counts.
• Prepare accurate, timely field and laboratory reports.
• Operate vehicle safely and follow safety procedures.
• Communicate daily with dispatch, management, and on-site clients.
• Relay jobsite updates and project information to management.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, project teams.
• Arrive on time to job sites and complete testing responsibly.
• Support technical team members and share information across the organization.
