Job summary

DIHO Consulting USA is seeking a qualified Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our Cedar Creek project team. The role covers field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and related materials, ensuring compliance with project specs and industry standards.

Applicants should have 2+ years of CM Testing experience; ACI certification is strongly preferred, with NICET or TxDOT credentials considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of construction materials testing experience.
• Experience with soils, concrete, asphalt, and field testing procedures.
• Certifications such as ACI preferred; NICET or TxDOT considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing of construction materials, including soils, concrete, asphalt, and related materials.
• Conduct concrete testing (slump, air content, temperature, unit weight, cylinders).
• Perform soil compaction testing (sand cone or nuclear density gauge).
• Complete Proctor, Atterberg limits, sieve analysis, and soil classification tests.
• Perform asphalt density testing and pavement core sampling.
• Monitor pile installation and document capacity, penetration, and blow counts.
• Prepare accurate, timely field and laboratory reports.
• Communicate daily with dispatch, management, and onsite clients.
• Maintain safety procedures and pass background checks as required.
