The ideal candidate has 2+ years in construction materials testing, holds or is pursuing ACI certification, and is willing to pass background checks and drug screening, with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years in Construction Materials Testing.
• Experience with soils, concrete, asphalt and field testing procedures.
• ACI certification preferred; NICET/TxDOT certifications encouraged.
• Dependable transportation and ability to pass screening.
• Clean driving record and ability to work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing of construction materials including soils, concrete, asphalt and related materials.
• Conduct concrete testing such as slump, air content, temperature and unit weight.
• Perform soil compaction testing using sand cone or nuclear gauge.
• Monitor pile installation documenting capacity, penetration and blow counts.
• Prepare accurate field and laboratory reports and communicate with site teams.
