Job summary

Braun Intertec in Minnesota is offering a 6-month Co-op for students pursuing engineering, construction management, or related fields. You will gain in-depth field experience, perform materials testing (soils, concrete, masonry, asphalt), and work with project managers to ensure specs are followed.

Selected candidates will receive training and certifications (ACI, safety, nuclear density gauge), mentoring from professional engineers, and exposure to ASTM, AASHTO, ACI, ICC, and DOT standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Full-time commitment for 6 months from mid-May to December.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work outdoors.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
• Clean driving record with valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing on soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt.
• Work with project managers to ensure specifications are followed.
• Gain field experience and onsite communication with construction crews.
• Learn procedures and gain exposure to ASTM, AASHTO, ACI, ICC, and DOT standards.
