Job summary

Braun Intertec Corporation in Duluth, MN invites engineering and construction management students to join a 6-month Co-op in our Duluth office. You'll gain hands-on field experience testing soils, concrete, masonry and asphalt, with guidance from professional engineers.

Work outdoors in varying weather, lift 75+ lbs, and complete a 3-day training covering safety, soil classification, ACI certification and more. This paid opportunity includes mentorship and industry exposure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record for 3 years.
• Full-time commitment for 6 months (mid-May to December).
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing on soils, concrete, masonry and asphalt at sites.
• Collaborate with project managers and technicians to ensure specs.
• Gain experience with ASTM, AASHTO, ACI, ICC, and DOT standards.
• Join a 3-day training event covering safety and classifications.
