Job summary

RIPPLE EFFECT CONSULTING LLC is seeking a Construction Materials Technician to support diverse field projects, from commercial to infrastructure. You’ll test soils, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates, document results, and coordinate with managers and contractors on site.

The role requires adaptability to outdoor conditions, ability to work with minimal supervision, a valid driver’s license, and meticulous record-keeping. Travel between job sites in Missouri may be required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Construction Materials Technician (CMT).
• Familiarity with field testing procedures and construction site operations.
• Experience on DOT, commercial, or infrastructure projects preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing and inspection of construction materials including soils, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates.
• Conduct compaction testing, concrete sampling, slump, air, and strength testing.
• Complete daily field reports and accurately document test results.
• Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and contractors on job sites.
• Follow project specifications, DOT requirements, and safety procedures.
• Maintain testing equipment and ensure proper calibration.
• Travel to multiple job sites as needed.
