Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training a plus.
• 0–3 years in field-based outdoor or physically demanding roles preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; ability to operate company vehicles.
• ACI Level 1 Concrete Testing certification or ability to obtain within set time.
• Commitment to OSHA safety standards and PPE usage.
• Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data collection tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and laboratory testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and other construction materials to verify compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Properly collect, label, and transport samples from job sites to laboratories for testing and analysis.
• Ensure testing requirements are met and compliant with project specs, requirements, and company policies.
• Complete detailed reports, logs, and documentation of test results with timely submission to PMs and stakeholders.
• Maintain testing equipment, ensuring proper operation and calibration as per guidelines.
• Document test results and site conditions; prepare and present reports as required.
• Communicate with dispatch, field supervisors, contractors, and PMs; provide real-time updates on status and issues.
• Adhere to project timelines and schedules; travel to job sites as needed.
• Adapt to changing project requirements, schedules, and weather; support business needs.
• Participate in ongoing training and certification programs to stay compliant.
• Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations; use PPE appropriately.
• Operate and maintain an assigned company vehicle and ensure cleanliness.
• Perform other duties to support project goals and company initiatives.
