Job description

The Field Marketing Manager will drive demand generation and pipeline growth across the Americas mass market segment, focusing on small and midsize businesses (SMBs) and mid-market customers. This role combines strategic campaign alignment with hands-on execution of scalable, multichannel marketing programs, including virtual events, partner activations, direct mail, and executive engagement experiences. You will use audience segmentation, intent data, and performance analytics to identify high-potential accounts and deliver targeted programs that accelerate customer acquisition and expansion. Working closely with Sales, Business Development Representatives (BDRs), Campaign Operations, and Data Operations teams, you will ensure seamless campaign execution and effective lead follow-up. The position offers an opportunity to make a measurable impact on pipeline performance in a fast-paced, technology-driven B2B SaaS environment. This fully remote, 12-month contract is suited to a proactive, data-driven marketer who thrives in a collaborative environment where priorities evolve quickly.

Accountabilities
  • Field marketing strategy and execution: Lead the end-to-end execution and optimization of mass market field marketing programs, including virtual events, technical demonstrations, regional dinners, experiential engagements, direct mail, and integrated partner activations.
  • Program planning and calendar management: Develop and maintain quarterly marketing calendars aligned with global campaign themes, product launches, regional priorities, and pipeline contribution targets.
  • Audience segmentation and intent analysis: Analyze multiple data sources and third-party intent signals using tools such as Demandbase to identify in-market accounts, define granular audience segments, and guide campaign targeting and program investment decisions.
  • Multichannel campaign development: Create compelling marketing content, including event invitations, landing pages, email sequences, and follow-up nurture communications, tailored to target audiences and designed to drive engagement and conversion.
  • Pipeline generation and revenue contribution: Execute marketing initiatives that support quarterly pipeline targets, accelerate customer acquisition, and contribute to expansion opportunities across SMB and mid-market segments.
  • Performance measurement and optimization: Monitor registration, attendance, engagement, lead progression, and pipeline metrics. Deliver regular performance updates and actionable optimization recommendations to leadership on a weekly basis.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Campaign Operations, Data Operations, Marketing, Sales, and BDR teams to ensure campaigns are accurately targeted, properly tracked, and supported by timely lead follow-up.
  • Sales enablement and engagement: Work closely with sales and business development teams to communicate program objectives, encourage participation, coordinate outreach, and maximize the commercial impact of marketing initiatives.
  • Vendor and agency management: Coordinate external vendors, agencies, event venues, restaurants, and other service providers to support the successful delivery of field marketing programs.
  • Budget and ROI management: Oversee program budgets, monitor spending, evaluate return on investment, and allocate resources effectively to maximize campaign performance.
  • Operational excellence and scalability: Maintain clear project plans, timelines, campaign briefs, status reports, and stakeholder communications. Document successful playbooks and best practices to enable repeatable, scalable execution across the mass market segment.
Requirements
  • Professional experience: Five to eight years of B2B field marketing experience, ideally within a high-volume, mass market organization serving SMB and mid-market customers.
  • Technology and SaaS expertise: Experience in the SaaS, Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS), or broader technology industry.
  • Scalable field marketing programs: Demonstrated ability to plan and execute multichannel marketing programs in a distributed or remote environment, supporting large sales organizations and generating measurable pipeline results.
  • Demand generation knowledge: Strong understanding of the marketing programs, audience engagement strategies, and campaign tactics that influence pipeline creation and accelerate sales opportunities at scale.
  • Marketing technology proficiency: Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms such as Pardot or equivalent tools, along with customer relationship management (CRM) systems such as Salesforce.
  • Data-driven decision-making: Experience analyzing campaign performance, interpreting marketing metrics, measuring ROI, and translating data into actionable improvements.
  • Audience segmentation expertise: Ability to segment audiences, use intent data to identify high-potential accounts, and develop targeted programs aligned with customer needs and buying signals.
  • Project management skills: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, budgets, timelines, vendors, and stakeholders simultaneously while maintaining high execution standards.
  • Adaptability and autonomy: Comfort working in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment where priorities shift frequently and ambiguity is common. Demonstrated ability to take initiative, solve problems independently, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Communication and collaboration: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop compelling marketing copy, coordinate cross-functional teams, and build effective relationships with sales and marketing stakeholders.
  • Preferred qualifications: Experience using Tableau for reporting and visualization, familiarity with Zoom products, and previous collaboration with channel or alliance teams on joint marketing and co-marketing initiatives.
Benefits
  • Remote work flexibility: Fully remote position based in the United States, with candidates located in the Eastern or Central Time Zones targeted for this opportunity.

  • Professional development: Opportunity to expand expertise in B2B field marketing, demand generation, marketing technology, and data-driven campaign optimization.
  • High-impact responsibilities: Direct involvement in programs that influence pipeline growth, customer acquisition, and expansion revenue across SMB and mid-market segments.
  • Cross-functional exposure: Collaboration with sales, marketing operations, data teams, and channel partners in a dynamic enterprise technology environment.
  • Innovative marketing environment: Opportunity to work with advanced marketing technologies, audience intelligence, intent data, and scalable campaign strategies.
  • Global collaboration: Exposure to an international network of marketing and marketing technology professionals, with opportunities to exchange best practices and contribute to shared initiatives.
