Job summary

Merlin Group is seeking a Field Marketing Manager to own planning, coordination, execution, and measurement of field marketing programs. You will drive cross-functional campaigns, collaborate with Sales and other teams, and manage events and partner activities to support regional priorities.

The role emphasizes process ownership, scalability, and continuous improvement of operating models within the field marketing workstream, reporting to the Director of Field Marketing.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in B2B marketing, field marketing, events, or related disciplines.
  • Strong project and program management skills with multiple workstreams.
  • Experience partnering with Sales and cross-functional teams in a pipeline-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational, vendor-management, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Comfort with budgets, timelines, and performance metrics.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Translate regional priorities into integrated field marketing plans and calendars.
  • Own end-to-end operational process for field events, executive programs, and regional campaigns.
  • Coordinate timelines, budgets, vendors, venues, assets, and approvals.
  • Partner with Sales, Demand Gen, Partner Marketing, and other stakeholders to align to pipeline objectives.
  • Develop program requirements, plans, RACI, and communication cadences.
  • Manage lead capture, routing, and post-event processes with Marketing Ops and Sales.
  • Track program performance and KPI reporting.
  • Maintain field marketing calendar and keep stakeholders informed.

The Opportunity

The Field Marketing Manager owns the planning, coordination, execution, and measurement of field marketing programs that support pipeline creation, customer engagement, and regional business priorities. This role manages cross-functional processes and programs rather than direct reports and reports to the Director of Field Marketing.

This is an individual-contributor role with ownership of processes, programs, and cross-functional execution, rather than direct people management. The Manager is expected to create structure, drive accountability, coordinate stakeholders, and continuously improve the operating model within the assigned marketing workstream.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Translate regional and business priorities into integrated field marketing plans, calendars, and program briefs.
  • Own the end-to-end operational process for field events, executive programs, customer experiences, partner activities, and other regional campaigns.
  • Coordinate timelines, dependencies, budgets, vendors, agencies, venues, creative assets, logistics, and internal approvals.
  • Partner with Sales, SDR/BDR, Demand Generation, Partner Marketing, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and other stakeholders to align programs to pipeline and revenue objectives.
  • Develop clear program requirements, project plans, RACI/ownership models, and communication cadences to keep stakeholders aligned.
  • Manage lead capture, routing, follow-up, campaign attribution, and post-event processes in partnership with Marketing Operations and Sales.
  • Track program performance, including attendance, engagement, sourced/influenced pipeline, conversion, cost efficiency, and other agreed KPIs.
  • Maintain a field marketing calendar and ensure program status, risks, decisions, and next steps are visible to stakeholders.
  • Manage external vendors and partners through defined scopes, timelines, deliverables, and performance expectations.
  • Identify process improvements that increase program quality, scalability, consistency, and operational efficiency.
  • Capture lessons learned and build reusable playbooks, templates, and best practices for future programs.
  • Provide regular reporting and recommendations to the Director of Field Marketing.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in B2B marketing, field marketing, events, integrated marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Strong project and program management skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and deadlines.
  • Experience partnering closely with Sales and other cross-functional teams in a pipeline-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, vendor-management, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Comfort working with budgets, timelines, performance metrics, and operational details.
  • Ability to turn ambiguous business objectives into structured plans and executable programs.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms and familiarity with campaign tracking and attribution concepts.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent practical experience preferred.
