Job summary

The Restaurant Store is seeking a Field Marketing Associate to communicate the advantages of shopping with TRS in the local market, while consistently representing the local branch positively. You will drive a variety of goals through effective field marketing and indirect sales strategies aligned with our sales and leadership teams.

Based in Reading, you will cover local markets, engaging food service operators and owners, and advancing branch performance through proactive outreach and product

• Willingness to travel locally and manage schedule

Responsibilities

• Communicate with TRS customer base, including food service operators and owners
• Navigate company software & technology to support customer needs and position requirements
• Plan efficient travel routes to meet local business customers regularly
• Increase local branch sales by converting prospects into active customers and re-engaging inactive customers
• Communicate pertinent information to sales team at local branch through established methods
• Share customer buying trends and competitor information with local store via invoices
• Develop and maintain knowledge of available products

The Field Marketing Associate with The Restaurant Store is responsible for communicating the advantages of shopping with TRS in a clean and concise manner across the local market area, while consistently portraying a positive representation of their local branch. The Field Marketing Associate will achieve a variety of operational goals through effective field marketing and indirect sales strategies that align with the goals of our sales and leadership teams.

• Increase local branch sales by converting new prospects into active customers and re-engaging inactive and lapsed customers into regular purchasers with TRS
• Communicate pertinent information to sales team at local branch through established communication methods
• Communicate customer buying trends and competitor information to local store by providing relevant competitor invoices
• Develop and maintain knowledge of available products
