The Restaurant Store is seeking a Field Marketing Associate to promote the advantages of shopping with TRS across the local market, while representing the branch professionally. The role focuses on field marketing and indirect sales to achieve local business goals in collaboration with sales and leadership teams.

Responsibilities include engaging foodservice operators, planning efficient travel routes, and maintaining product knowledge to support branch growth and customer retention.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in retail and/or field marketing / sales.
Food Service Industry experience.
Experience using MS Office Suite to maintain business-to-business relationships.

Responsibilities

Communicate with TRS customer base including food service business operators and owners.
Navigate company software and technology to support customer needs and position requirements.
Plan efficient travel routes to meet with local business customers on recurring basis.
Increase local branch sales by converting new prospects into active customers and re-engaging inactive and lapsed customers into regular purchasers with TRS.
Communicate pertinent information to sales team at local branch through established communication methods.
Communicate customer buying trends and competitor information to local store by providing relevant competitor invoices.
Develop and maintain knowledge of available products.

Job Summary

The Field Marketing Associate with The Restaurant Store is responsible for communicating the advantages of shopping with TRS in a clean and concise manner across the local market area, while consistently portraying a positive representation of their local branch. The Field Marketing Associate will achieve a variety of operational goals through effective field marketing and indirect sales strategies that align with the goals of our sales and leadership teams.

Physical Requirements

Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.
Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Experience

Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in retail and/or field marketing / sales
Food Service Industry experience
Experience using MS Office Suite to maintain business-to-business relationships

Desired Traits & Skills

Previous experience in the restaurant industry is a plus
Must possess reliable transportation and maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
