Job summary

2020 Companies in Ohio is seeking a full-time Field Marketing Representative to promote a premium tobacco brand at retail locations across the assigned territory. You will engage adult consumers through friendly, compliant conversations and drive brand awareness throughout your shifts.

The role requires frequent travel with a flexible Mon-Sat schedule, and pays $25 per hour. We offer weekly pay, mileage reimbursement, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k matching, and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in brand ambassador, retail sales, customer service, hospitality, event marketing, or promotional marketing roles preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong presentation and relationship-building abilities.
• Comfortable approaching and engaging consumers in a retail environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled retail activations within an assigned geographic territory.
• Engage adult tobacco consumers in meaningful, compliant conversations about tobacco products.
• Verify age eligibility and ensure all interactions comply with company policies, local regulations, and program guidelines.
• Administer consumer surveys and accurately collect market feedback and insights.
• Distribute approved promotional materials and consumer offers, including coupons and incentives.
• Educate consumers on available promotions.
• Encourage purchase consideration through consultative consumer engagement.
• Build positive relationships with retail personnel and store management.
• Accurately document activity results, consumer interactions, and survey completion through designated reporting systems.
• Maintain all program materials, displays, and activation assets in a professional manner.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory to support scheduled retail visits and events.
