Job summary

Montefiore/University Behavioral Associates (UBA) is seeking an experienced Clinical Supervisor to lead a dedicated clinical team within the Clinical Support Program (CSP) serving families referred by ACS in the Bronx. The role combines clinical oversight with administrative leadership across multiple Bronx sites.

You will supervise clinicians, ensure high-quality assessments of mental health, substance use, and intimate partner violence needs, and collaborate with ACS staff to strengthen child

• Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related field with NYS license options.
• 5+ years direct service or supervisory experience, preferably in child welfare.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative oversight to CSP staff and ensure high-quality services.
• Lead training and supervision for CSP staff, including weekly supervision meetings.
• Review clinical reports, track deliverables, and ensure timely, accurate services.
• Collaborate with ACS borough offices, attend conferences, and contribute clinical input at meetings.

Overview

Are you a licensed and experienced clinician with a passion for supporting children and families? We are seeking an experienced Clinical Supervisor to lead and inspire a dedicated clinical team in Montefiore/ UBA’s Clinical Support Program (CSP). The Clinical Supervisor will oversee a team of clinicians who provide assessments and consultations to families referred by our partners at the NYC Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) in the Bronx, particularly to determine client needs related to mental health, substance use, and intimate partner violence. CSP clinical staff will be based at one of the following Bronx locations: 1200 Waters Place, 2100 Bartow Avenue, and 2501 Grand Concourse (with responsibilities at 1775 Grand Concourse). Staff may be expected to travel between locations at times.

Starting salary is $105,000, plus bonus. Benefits are excellent, including generous time off, 403(b), medical/dental/vision insurance, and more.

Responsibilities

As the Clinical Supervisor, you will provide both clinical and administrative oversight to your site’s team, ensuring that every child and family receives the highest quality of support. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leadership & Supervision: Train and onboard new Clinical Support Program (CSP) staff, and provide weekly individual and group supervision to your team. You will also provide clinical support and coverage as needed.
• Quality Assurance: Review clinical reports, track key deliverables, and ensure services are timely, accurate, and impactful.
• Collaboration & Liaison: Serve as the direct point of contact for ACS borough office staff, attend Child Safety Conferences, and provide expert clinical input at field office meetings.
• Training & Development: Design and deliver engaging training sessions for ACS staff.

Requirements

• Master's in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field; with an LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, or LMFT; Limited Permit Psychologist licensed in NYS.
• 5+ years of direct service and/or supervisory experience, ideally within the child welfare system.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to partner across teams and agencies.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice.
