Job summary

Montefiore Behavioral Health Center is seeking a Clinical Manager to supervise social work staff and meet daily clinical needs of the MHOTRS clinic. Responsibilities include CQI oversight, program design, and administrative leadership to ensure services align with regulatory standards.

The role requires a Master’s degree and NY license (psychology or LCSW), with several years of supervisory experience; Spanish skills are preferred. Work hours are Monday through Friday, typically 9am–5:30pm.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• New York State License in psychology or Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW) required.
• 3 years' supervisory experience preferred.
• Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clinical point person for Intake services in collaboration with the director or designee.
• Oversee CQI activities and performance improvement initiatives.
• Design and implementation of clinical initiatives.
• Clinical and administrative supervision, including hiring, firing, progressive discipline.
• Manage census and develop referral networks; understand insurance reimbursement requirements.
• Oversee daily operations of the location.
• Participate in leadership meetings and departmental initiatives.

Overview

Montefiore Behavioral Health Center provides comprehensive services for emotionally troubled individuals and integrated substance abuse treatment, while promoting the mental health of all community residents. Treatment is provided with dignity and respect by highly skilled professionals, board-certified in psychiatry.The Clinical Manager will be responsible for the supervision of social work staff and daily clinical needs of theMental Health Outpatient Treatment and Rehabilitation Services(MHOTRS) clinic. Ensure that the clinical services are appropriate and consistent with the objectives of the program and regulatory agencies through supervision and project development. Implement and oversee CQI activities and measurement of performance improvement initiatives.
