Job summary

EcoShield Pest Solutions is seeking a Field Manager to lead and develop our Service Technicians, ensuring high-quality pest control service and excellent customer experience. The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and operational efficiency while driving field performance and staff development.

You will oversee daily routes, coach technicians, and coordinate with the Service Manager to maintain service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years pest control experience and 1 year of management experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with 3+ consecutive driving years.
• State-required pest control training/licensing provided.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and train a team of Service Technicians for delivery and customer experience.
• Manage and evaluate technician performance with regular coaching.
• Issue pest control products, perform field audits, and provide feedback to management.
• Monitor schedules and routes, run performance reports, and inspect equipment.

Field Manager

The Field Manager oversees Service Technicians responsible for executing daily routes and delivering pest control services to recurring customers. This role is accountable for building and training a high-performing field team focused on service quality, operational efficiency, and customer experience, while ensuring compliance, safety, and performance standards are consistently met.

Responsibilities

• Build and train a team of Service Technicians in technical service delivery and customer experience, including identifying sales opportunities and supporting lead generation for the sales team.
• Manage and evaluate the performance of Service Technicians, facilitating regular meetings, training sessions, and coaching to reinforce service quality, processes, and protocols.
• Issue pest control products and chemicals to technicians, conduct daily field audits through ride-alongs, and provide feedback to the Service Manager on findings.
• Monitor technician schedules and service routes, including high-priority and emergency services, run performance reports, and conduct regular truck inspections to ensure equipment, inventory, safety, and cleanliness standards are maintained.

Qualifications And Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of pest control experience, and 1 year of management experience is required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and have 3+ consecutive years of driving history as driving a company vehicle is an essential function of this role.
• Earn and maintain state-required training and pest control licensing if applicable (provided).
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay for this role is between $50,000 and $55,000. Your base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors, including your job-related knowledge/skills, qualifications, experience, and market location.

• Capable of regularly lifting up to 50 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting.
• Requires clear vision for both close and distant tasks, with adjustable focus.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, perform physical tasks, and manage repetitive motions.
• Exposure to pesticides, chemicals, pests, mold, allergens, and structural hazards; safety gear required.
