Job summary

The North American Coal Corporation in Beulah, North Dakota seeks an enthusiastic Welding Summer Student to perform welding repairs and fabrication on mining equipment. You will read blueprints, assemble parts, locate cracks, and assist mechanics while adhering to MSHA and company safety standards.

Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in a welding technology program, have a valid driver’s license, and are prepared for 12-hour rotating shifts at a surface lignite coal mine.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in welding technology program
• Valid driver’s license required
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts

Responsibilities

• Perform welding repairs and fabrication on mining equipment.
• Read blueprints to assemble and fabricate parts.
