Job summary

Hawthorne Cat is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to repair, maintain and rebuild electrical equipment in the service shop or in the field, performing tasks safely and efficiently.

You will conduct AC/DC repairs, read schematics, perform warranty work, and train customers. The role requires a California Class C license, a clean driving record, and willingness to enroll to become a state-certified electrical worker. Full-time with strong benefits in San Diego.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid California Class C driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must fully understand OE arc flash standards and the correct use of PPE.
• Must be open to enroll in training to become a state certified electrical worker.

Responsibilities

• Makes warranty recommendations and prepares reports for warranty service jobs.
• Performs AC and DC electrical repairs.
• Diagnoses system and component failures.
• Reads technical data and schematic drawings.
