Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a field lighting technician to perform maintenance and upgrades on electrical lighting systems for National Accounts.

The role involves servicing existing fixtures, performing bulb and ballast changes, and coordinating with customers to resolve lighting issues with professionalism and safety. Responsibilities include installing controls, testing circuits, reading plans, and operating aerial lifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0+ years of experience preferred.
• OHSA-10 training or equivalent is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic lighting components.
• Install and mount lighting controls, devices, sensors, and components.
• Operate aerial lifts and bucket trucks safely.
• Test lighting systems and continuity with testing devices.
• Read plans and orders to determine materials and procedures.
• Diagnose malfunctioning lighting systems using test equipment.
• Read contract drawings and ensure compliance.
• Troubleshoot EMS systems, smart breakers, and relays.
