Job summary

Musco Sports Lighting is seeking a Sales Representative based in Nashville or Knoxville. You will build strong relationships with contractors, specifiers and end-users, assess lighting needs, and present Musco products and services in various settings, including field visits and trade shows.

The role requires 3+ years of sales experience, a related bachelor’s degree preferred, and willingness to travel including evenings and overnights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in related field.
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-disciplined to work independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to travel, including evenings and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with contractors, specifiers and end-users.
• Assess lighting needs and recommend Musco products and services.
• Present Musco solutions via meetings, field visits and trade shows.
• Prepare budget estimates using pricing tools.
• Identify key decision makers to maximize Musco's position on projects.
• Collaborate in a team to analyze projects from sales, business and engineering angles.
• Negotiate prices and terms including credit and collection.
• Conduct field work like site visits, pole measurements, installations support, and warranty inspections.
• Maintain accurate project data in the sales database.
• Coordinate with Regional Sales Coordinator to allocate resources.
• Participate in corporate meetings and calls as needed.
• Pursue new business calls to grow the customer base.
