Job summary

Kemper Corporation in Toledo, OH is seeking a Licensed Insurance Sales Agent to join our field sales team. This full-time role offers a sign-on bonus, uncapped commissions, and the opportunity to build a personal book of business through patient home visits and policy sales.

You will collect premiums, service existing accounts, and develop new client relationships while earning income through a performance-based compensation model. A valid license to sell Kemper Life products is required.

Qualifications

• Must be fully licensed to sell Kemper Life products (Life, Health, P&C)
• Customer service experience required
• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license with auto insurance
• Reliable vehicle for daily travel
• Background check, MVR, and drug screening required
• Authorization to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Coordinate home visits and conduct sales presentations, recommending products and closing new sales
• Prospect for new sales opportunities
• Maintain relationships by collecting premiums on a pre-arranged schedule
• Respond to service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims and loans
• Record keeping and processing policy paperwork
• Grow the assigned territory through new sales
• Build strong working relationships with customers
• Dedicate time to fulfill responsibilities and pursue professional development in insurance products and sales effectiveness
