Job summary

Accelera is seeking an Underground Utility Crew Lead to head field operations installing critical electrical infrastructure and traffic signal systems. You will ensure high-quality workmanship, strict safety adherence, and efficient team coordination on complex civil construction sites.

You will interpret engineering plans, supervise trenching and finishing work, enforce OSHA/trench safety, manage resources, and mentor crew members while coordinating with inspectors and stakeholders to meet

Qualifications

5+ years in underground utility construction with leadership experience.
Ability to read civil/electrical blueprints, survey data, and project specs.
Strong knowledge of OSHA, MUTCD, and regional installation standards.
Experience using digital timekeeping and production tracking systems.
Valid driver’s license; ability to operate company vehicles.
OSHA 10 certification.

Responsibilities

Interpret complex plans and survey layouts to guide conduit and utility installation.
Direct daily field activities including trenching, potholing, and concrete finishing.
Enforce safety standards including OSHA compliance and trench safety.
Manage site resources: materials, equipment, and tooling.
Use digital project management tools to track labor, production, and material usage.
Mentor crew members and promote technical excellence and growth.
Coordinate with inspectors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to meet milestones.
