Job summary

Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. is seeking an Installation Technician Level 2 to install and commission integrated security systems nationwide, including CCTV, access control, alarms, and IP video.

You will lead on-site teams, perform cabling, and ensure compliance with codes and customer specs. You will develop as-built documentation, provide customer training, and support ongoing maintenance while coordinating with project managers and clients to meet schedules and quality

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to travel nationally.
Valid driver’s license required.
A+ certification preferred.
BICSI Installer 1 Certificate preferred.
Ability to walk 1.0 mile and lift up to 50 lbs.
Must pass federal background check and any required licensing.

Responsibilities

Install security systems including CCTV, access control, alarm systems and other physical security equipment.
Perform complex cabling and wiring tasks, ensuring neatness and adherence to electrical codes.
Set up devices, cameras, DVRs, NVRs and control panels; configure and connect with existing systems.
Test and commission systems to ensure components function together and meet standards.
Provide maintenance and customer support; diagnose hardware/software issues and resolve connectivity problems.
Create installation reports and as-built documentation; maintain inventory records.
Lead installation teams on complex projects; mentor junior technicians and coordinate with project managers.
Ensure safety and compliance with regulations and industry standards.
Assist in system upgrades and integrations and participate in training and knowledge sharing.
