Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an experienced Security Supervisor Install Technician to install and service card access, CCTV, intrusion, and fire alarm systems at customer sites.

You will lead installation technicians, manage project progress, and communicate with customers to ensure successful completion. The role combines hands-on installation with field leadership, requiring blueprint reading, troubleshooting, and documentation skills, plus safety-minded service delivery and weekend

Qualifications

• 10+ years in the security industry installing, inspecting, repairing, and programming security systems.
• Experience leading and mentoring installation technicians.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of test equipment, multi-meter, digital analyzer, and commissioning devices.
• Ability to read blueprints and manuals.
• Ability to pass background and drug tests.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting requirements.
• Willing to work flexible hours including weekends and travel.

Responsibilities

• Install and service card access, CCTV, intrusion, and fire alarm systems at customer sites.
• Lead, direct, and guide installation technicians.
• Manage projects to ensure timely completion.
• Provide regular reports and communicate with customers.
• Read blueprints, specs, and manuals; troubleshoot and repair.
• Complete installation, programming, and testing using mobile devices.
• Maintain truck inventory for on-time responses.
• Ensure safety and quality on every job.
