Job summary

Allied Universal Technology Services is seeking a Commercial Security Installation Technician III to lead on-site installation projects for enterprise clients. You will install, configure, and test electronic security systems, supervise teams, and ensure timely delivery of equipment and services.

The role requires 2–3 years of field experience in low voltage security, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to manage multiple jobs while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in physical security, fire alarm or low-voltage industry installing field devices and running medium- to large-sized jobs.
• Experience with security platforms such as Software House, Lenel, AMAG, S2, Brivo, Milestone, Exacq, Axis, Bosch, Commend, DMP, Open Options, Notifier, Fluidmesh or ONSSI is preferred.
• Possess or obtain proper state licensing (Low Voltage D license, Alarm Installer Lic. etc.)
• Must meet deadlines and work in a fast-based environment with minimal direction.
• Strong communication skills for interactions with customers.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with on-site scheduling and timely delivery of equipment.
• Connect control panels, install software, wire concealment and secure systems.
• Install, program and configure commercial electronic security systems for enterprise clients.
• Troubleshoot new installations to ensure proper function and code compliance.
• Supervise teams of Security Installation Technician I and II.
• Manage multiple medium- to large-sized jobs within hours and margin tolerances.
• Travel to client sites with a company vehicle to verify system operation.
• Install electrical wiring, panels, cables and security devices.
• Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the manager.
